Ganymede Pole

The first Human-discovered evidence of other intelligence species was an obelisk discovered at the north pole of Ganymede, Jupiter's largest moon.  Micrometeorite and argon-argon dating provided an age of 50,000 years to the ceramic artifact. Unfortunately all eight base panels repeated the same 54 character inscription, providing little data for possible translation.
