As the Columbus passed Jupiter, it picked up an Honor Guard of an assortment of Solar vessels. It seemed ironic to Captain Turki that an unarmed 10 meter sphere from a world four light years away and a century abandoned, with a population of just eighty thousand, could bring such turmoil to the Solar system. But a faster-than-light ship represented a technological upheaval, and nothing would be the same again.
